Trees fall across the trails and create hazards. We organize trail clearing days ahead of our events to ensure the trail is clear and safe. During the winter months there is no shortage of fallen trees after a good snow storm. Bringing a small saw with you, can help you pass fallen trees, and allows you to help the club by assisting with the work while your up there playing on your sled.

In Sept we organize an annual wood haul. We bring and chop firewood up at the Chalet for the winter months. Help us move and stack the wood under the chalet. Bring work gloves and proper foot ware. Your extra hands help make a huge job, quick and fun to do.

Between the registration table, the parking lot, each poker check point, concession, food prep, putting up signage, taking down signage, event planning, prize collection, putting up posters the list goes on. There are so many ways to help out at these events. Many people say that volunteering at an event was more fun than participating in the event itself.

If early mornings are your thing, you like sitting in the cozy Collection Hut Cabin with a warm fire and a book ...Trail Fee Collector may be for you. We collect on Sat/Sun mornings and on heavy snow days. Looking for additional people to join the crew.

Grooming operations require lots of volunteers to organize safe grooming of the trails. Be a part of the grooming crew. What skills do you bring? Mechanic? Welder? Grooming experience? Come to a meeting and discuss how to get involved.

We clean up the parking lot a week or so before events. We magnet sweep for nails from the inevitable fires that take place there with pallets and such. We also clean up any garbage we see, while we blast music and enjoy the hopefully sunny weather. Bring sun screen and work gloves.

Do you go up the trails regularly? We are looking for someone to provide regular trail reports. Even if you only go up now and again, letting us know what trails you took and anything interesting you saw up there is great information to share with your fellow sledders.

Is photography your hobby? Donating your time to photograph at events is a great way to volunteer doing the thing you love while sledding or quadding or SxSing. There are lots of interesting shots to be had, with the snow and the mud.
Did you see something you think the club should know about? Community watch relies on you!
